Wow, it's already been 2 weeks since my last post. Soon I will commit to blogging daily M-F. I will keep my review short regarding American Gangster. I think Denzel is such a great actor, the intensity he brings to the screen is captivating. He does a superb job playing Frank Lucas, a drug lord smuggling drugs from Vietnam (via US Military) to NY. He accomplishes a tight drug network that not even the Italian drug bosses had. The movie had less action than I anticipated and it was a bit long. I would rate the movie an 8.5 out of 10.
